There are as many ways to approach healing out there as there are people. Living life on your terms requires you to figure out things for yourself sometimes. This can lead to struggle but also a deep sense of fulfillment at getting it right.
We often look to google to help us in our search for how to do things, in fact I always run to google first when researching and trying to find out how to do something. YouTube usually pops in as my second choice since I am a visual as well as “let me do it” type of learner. Hopefully you landed on my blog as the result of a google search hehe.
So what sets How To… apart from other blogs? While a lot of How To blogs teach you how to do things, I haven’t seen a whole lot that focus on the topic of healing to a deep level AND showing you the way to determine what works best for you. I’m not here for you to blindly follow what I say. I’m here to teach you how to find your true north and follow it on your journey of healing.
So to that end I will write about a lot of things that relate to giving you practical tools to help you do just that. From coming to a realization that you must change in profound ways, to how to live on your own for the first time, to how to conquer the fear of the unknown to live the life you love. One thing that I have dedicated my life to is helping people find themselves and what lights them up. This doesn’t include some rigid prescriptive method from the guru of the day (check out my website http://www.beyondthegurucoaching.com for more on that). I am a human walking a human journey, trying to help others carve out a path that benefits them in the best way possible.
Also, I’d like to hear from my readers about what topics interest you the most. Tell me what you want to learn how to do. Since there are so many factors that play into how we are able to apply the knowledge we get, you will mostly read about my experiences with healing as well as other people’s experiences with healing. So what I would like for you to do is…take what’s helpful and leave what is not. You are under no obligations to apply the whole formula but I will tell you that applying things as I speak to them will help you have good results for yourself. This is a space where voice and choice matter and you get to choose.
Lastly, it takes great discipline to keep moving forward on a hard path. This is true whether it is healing, career, health, relationships, whatever. If these things were easy you probably wouldn’t be on a mad hunt for how to do it. So be kind to yourself. Give things time to work. Love yourself as you figure yourself out. You’ll be glad you did.
I’ll be launching a podcast talking about all of these things so be on the look out for it. I will let you all know when it’s live and…Thanks for joining me here.
This sounds so interesting! A podcast sounds like a great addition!
